The foundation of Salt & Light men’s coaching and mentorship program is rooted in these 7 verses: 

1.  Proverbs 27:17 – As Iron sharpens Iron, so one person sharpens another. 

o  This verse highlights how men can help each other grow and become stronger through their interactions.   

2.  1 Thessalonians 5:11 – Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 

o  This verse calls for mutual encouragement and spiritual growth within a community.

3.  Galations 6:2  - Carry each other’s Burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 

o  This verse emphasizes sharing in each others struggles and providing support. 

4.  2 Timothy 2:2 – And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

o  This verse encourages mentorship and the passing down of knowledge from one man to another.

5.  Romans 15:1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 

o  This verse speaks to the idea that more experience or mature men should help and be patient with those who are less mature.  (including your sons, including your employees, etc)

6.  1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - Be on your Guard; Stand firm in the faith; be Courageous, be strong. Do everything in Love. 

o  This verse teaches Men what we should be all about!  Our mission in this world is to be strong, to protect, and come from a heart position of Love in all that we do.  We need to teach other men how to become this for themselves, their families, their kids, their employees or co-workers.

7.  Ephesians 2:10 – For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. 

o  Your purpose is not random, God has already prepared it.God has a purpose for your life, but it unfolds in his timing, not yours.Your relationship with the Lord must be your most important priority.Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.When your heart aligns with God, your desires begin to reflect his will.What God takes Joy in, so you will also take joy in.His will becomes your will.Amen!!
